Tiffany, thanks for writing. I agree with you. Using the words “hard” and “difficult” to describe stuttering are, in my opinion, perfectly appropriate. The act of stuttering and the act of avoiding stuttering are “hard.” These words are the opposite of negative language. “Hard” and “difficult” are words that describe, not judge, stuttering.
