Katlyn: Each client is working on specific targets toward managing fluent speaking. The game is merely an activity/situation in which they practice their target use. Each client's clinician accompanies them (and participates) in the group interactions to cue them and provide feedback relative to their target use. Alternatively, my clients often provide feedback to one another regarding their target use. The activity is sometimes a challenge as clients often become more engaged in the game then in using their targets. So, its often imperative to have someone to "watch over" the activity so that we don't lose site of the primary (therapeutic) purpose of the activity. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting.
