Kassie: I'd go a step further and say that games are as much fun for clinicians as they are for clients, adults or children. But I have some concerns when the games seem to become more important than the therapeutic technique I'm trying to teach. Sometimes children and adults (and clinicians) can become too wrapped up in the game, and lose perspective on why we're playing the game. For my money, learning needs to be taking place for any activity to be valuable and included in my therapy. There is also the issue of response rate... if an activity doesn't generate enough client responses, its "too expensive" to use. That's what I like about the Lost at Sea activity... everyone seems to have a great deal to say about it and there are few real experts (except the Coast Guard) to say "your wrong". Thanks for your comments. Gary
