I wanted to thank you for your research on a form of workplace discrimination that is not fully realized by society. I am a graduate student in the field of speech-language pathology at New York University, and I was especially curious about the statement you made in your conclusion. You assert, "Efforts must be undertaken to help eliminate discrimination against people who stutter in the workplace." What efforts would you suggest employing regarding overall workplace equality? How could you be sure that these efforts will promote occupational opportunities and comfort for people who stutter while simultaneously avoiding the tendency to emphasize these employees?
