Erin: Excellent question. I agree with your hypothesis that one factor in discrimination against PWS may be the individual's level of confidence. Another (related) factor may be whether the person self-discloses the fact that they stutter in an interview. I have read research that indicates that self-disclosure (i.e. announcing the fact that you stutter) makes you appear more confident to the listener I certainly think it would be interested to conduct research (as you suggest) to determine whether differences in discrimination occur based on level of confidence.
