Hello Ross: Thanks for the question....and do you remember me? I took the PFSP at Hollins College around 1975 (with my twin brother Michael). Kitty was my main therapist, but we had quite a bit of contact. Hope all is well! With regards to your question, I believe there is some protection stemming from the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). Therefore, I believe that people who stutter can contact legal counsel and grieve through the ADA if they feel they have been discriminated against. I cannot comment, however, on the difficulty with doing that or the success rate. Thanks again for the question. Keep well. Marshall Rice York University
