It is a tragedy that people still have to struggle with various prejudices in their lives, and even more shocking in a time when there are so many laws about equal opportunity and discrimination in the work place! As an SLP in training, it is my hope to spread awareness about stuttering and to help break down some of the barriers that people with fluency disorders have to fight against.
