Hello Tara: We did ask respondents what type of employment/career they have and there was a wide range: we had professors, a doctor, secretaries, salespeople, paramedics, farmers -- just about everything. While no one responded they were a telephone operator, quite a number reported that they had a lot of telephone responsibilities in their job. We found that respondents were quite willing to share their opinions and stories with us. As an open-end questions we asked respondents to describe any incidents of discrimination at work and some respondents wrote *pages* of stuff. Best regards, Dr. Marshall Rice
