Hello Dr. Rice and Mr. Kroll- I found the results of the Web survey very upsetting and interesting at the same time! I was upset to discover that people are missing out on career opportunities that can advance their knowledge and skills. As difficult as it is to accept, discrimination exists in many forms. I personally feel an individual should not be judged solely on their communication skills. I thought the results were interesting in that there is a commonality among people (in the workplace) who stutter, regardless of their location. I agree with you both that education for individuals who don't stutter is the starting point for increasing awareness! Thank you for your insights! Brooke Hermus
