Hello! We are SLP graduate students at Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. We have read your paper and have a few questions. Do you think that educating employers combined with more openness from stuttering employees would decrease these work challenges and discrimination? I know many stutterers prefer to hide their problem. Are there any advocators that could defend those who stutter who are not comfortable speaking out for themselves? If not, do you think the implementation of stuttering advocators would make a difference?
