Dr. Rosenthal, Although I do not have extensive background in this field, as I am only a first semester grad student, I am intrigued by the thought of this type of therapy. From what I do know about stuttering, reactions from the parents/caregivers are extremely important because they help the child to form thoughts, feelings and behaviors about themselves and their stuttering. Just curiosly, how long have you been using transactional analysis therapy? Why do you feel it works best over some of the other approaches mentioned in your article? Also, since you have two degrees, do you focus more on the fluency aspect (speech) or on the therapy/counseling aspect (psychology)? Thank you...
