Hello Prakhar, I just read your post and I think it is truly wonderful that you decided to not let your stuttering stand in the way of your dream of becoming an engineer. I am currently a student at New York University, working towards my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. As you mentioned in your article, "by the time you graduated from highschool, the fear of stuttering was so deeply engrained in my whole well being." As Children who stutter become young adults, they become more aware of their stuttering, and their negative feelings tend to rise to a higher level. However, I think you have showed us just how strong a person you are to overcome that feeling and completely change your way of thinking into believing in yourself and that you are better then your stuttering. I hope to make other PWS realize that about themselves one day as well. You ended your story with the statement "Be Kind to Yourself." Those are wonderful words to live by in order to live your life to the fullest!
