Hi Dana, Thanks for the kind words! As you mentioned, I also believe, the period when a child develops into a young adult is a critical period in regards to coming to terms with one's stutter. As young adults, we become very conscious of ourselves. That is where, every stuttering incident creates a deeper dent to our self image. More often than not, we begin to operate from that false self image that we've created about ourselves. As such, a vicious cycle results. This is where, support, in any form, plays a pivotal role. In my own case, I have learned a lot from many people. You say: "I hope to make other PWS realize that about themselves one day as well." I'm sure you'll prove to be a very good SLP! Finally, on being kind to oneself, I've found out that negative self-talk does no good but of bogging one down further. It is very important we pay attention to our inner dialogue. All the best with your masters degree, and your career as a SLP! - Prakhar
