Hi Laurie, Thank you for the kind words! Yes, I've had some therapy for my stutter. Not a lot though. About stuttering being genetic, or not, I don't think I have any credentials to comment on that. :-) Well, primarily because I'm not a geneticist, neither do I follow the ongoing research. However, since you've asked for my personal opinion.....I believe that we stutterers have a predisposition to stuttering. To say stuttering is genetic, per se, leaves a lot to be desired. For that matter, I know many stutterers who have no family history of stuttering. I've also observed -- although this observation does not hold much water, for the lack of large sample space – that genetic link is more prevalent in European countries and North America, than it is here in India. But, then again, as I said earlier, all this does not pertain to my domain. All the best with your masters degree, and life in general! Best regards, Prakhar
