First and foremost I wanted to thank you for sharing your personal story. The analogy you used at the end just really makes you stop and look at your life in any obstacle you encounter whether it be stuttering, work issues, etc. Also, your story shows how much other's reactions can greatly influence one's fluency. The way kids in junior high and high school react definitely hinders communication. I respect your decision and will to do what you love despite your dysfluency. You define the saying, "Stuttering is something you DO, not who you are".
