Hi Sandra, Yes, it's very true that even non-stutterers have to confront the fear of public speaking. I've noticed that in many cases. In my friend circle, I'm far more outgoing than some of my friends – and they don't stutter! I'm sure many people can relate to how you faked up illness, including me. :-) However, chronic stuttering is governed by an altogether different dynamics. I've already e-mailed Dr. Michael Susca.
