I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your article very much and am so happy and proud of what you have accomplished. First I wanted you to know how great it is that you left the career path that you did not enjoy and went into a career that you wanted despite the fear you had. you are so curageous because it would have been so difficult for me to do that. second, I wanted to ask you how your parents felt about you being a stutterer and whether or not they were supportive and helpful. The reason I am asking is because I am a 26 year old persian girl and our cultures are very similar. I know that growing up in Iran, I have heard about one kid who stuttered but never saw him because his parents were not really supportive and kept him out of all social scenes.
