You show a very real understanding of the pluses and minuses regarding cultural variables. Self advocacy groups may come as a later experience. It could be helpful to have therapeutic stuttering groups of only PWS, to help with the feelings of loneliness. This could then be followed by mixed therapeutic groups of PWS with family, and friends, actually pairing up to go out on therapeutic, environmental, assignments wherein the nonstutterers together with their PWS partner engage in similar role playing such as deliberate stuttering, monitoring stutter-fre speech, etc. Let me know if you try to explore some of these activities.
