I think to claim that only a stutterer can help a stutter is about as credible as saying that to deliver a baby you must have had one yourself. We all fit into the sub-culture of human beings who have weaknesses to overcome, so life can teach us compasion, and education can teach us the skills necessary to help people who stutter.
