Does understanding that we are fallible and accepting ourselves unconditionally square with your thoughts?

Ellen-Marie, I have a tri-partite exercise that may equate to what you have said and it may not. 1) I understand that I forever will be a fallible human being and time to time show imperfection. That is the nature of the animal called human. 2) I accept and actually quite like my existential self, even though I may dislike some of my actions (such as stuttering) I still accept them. Once an action has happened, I accept it (though may not want to repeat it) because I cannot change it. Such is reality. 3) I do not choose to define anything as "awful" or "unbearable" and do not down mortal-soul-myself for having a feeling or committing an action that is self-defeating, because this is life: Even when we supposedly know better we will falter. Is this compatible with what you said? I am willing to be "mindful" and observe my reactions, feelings, and thoughts with a detachment. Gunars
