I really enjoyed your article. I personally have received my two-year degree in Deaf Studies and found this information very relative and true. I do have a question though. You listed a few of the stuttering behaviors but I was wondering what the consistency and frequency of these disfluencies makes the classification of stuttering. Signing myself, and with others, I have come across people who have experienced stuttering events in ASL. I was wondering how often do these events need to occur to be considered a person who stutters? Thank you so much for your time and information! I really enjoyed reading your article.
