Hi Melisa. You ask: [Do you think there would be differences in the type of sign language they use since the language structure/syntax is different? (For example, ASL vs. See Sign.] I’m assuming you’re asking if the stuttered sign behaviors would be different, relative to what type of sign was used. And my thought would be- -not really. Stuttered speech behaviors are pretty consistent across spoken languages, so I predict that stuttered signing would be pretty consistent across signed languages as well.
