When people face adversity, say they want change, but do not actually act on creating positive change (or acceptance), generally it is a result of fear, is it not? (that is a true ? to you) I recall asking a stutterer to "give up" his one persistent struggle w/ his speech and he said he was not ready: he was afraid. Even tho well read he could not define his fear. Should we be able to define our fear(s) first? Is this part of the process? Yes, life keeps moving us along and there are for so many reasons for not making the obvious change but to identify the fear seems so difficult. Any advice there? Thank you for such a well thought/ well written article. We DO need more like this!
