Hi Jenny - good to hear from you again! Have just noticed that you first posted this on the 11th - apologies for not noticing you sooner. Stuttering was part of the reason I left school early, but I now feel that I should have stayed on in spite of the hassle I was getting. Am sure I would have got to where I am - and further - if I had gone to university sooner. It's so much harder qualifying when you have a full-time job, house and young family! You mention "fear ot talking", but I've never been scared to speak in front of people. Sure, I am apprehensive about stuttering in front of people, but that's more for the nuisance factor. But then, I'm a sensitive soul, and nervousness is probably hidden in there somewhere. With regard to speaking in a studio, yes, am sure auditory delay is 99% of the reason - but then, I've always found radio studios to have a particularly seductive atmosphere that I really love being in. Am so grateful for your kind comments and good wishes. Very best wishes for your Masters and future career - do feel free to stay in touch - I can be contacted anytime on antonystewart@blueyonder.co.uk Kind regards Tony
