Dear Katrina, I can see that we have some areas of agreement (e.g., person-first labeling for neutral names like "basketball player") and some areas of disagreement (continuing to use person-first just because we might have been taught to). For what it's worth, if you want to be consistent about your postion, you will need to remove such words from your vocabulary as: "hemopheliac," "adict," "smoker," "prostitute," "child abuser," " "over-eater," "cheater," "punk,' "masochist," hypochondriac," and many, many, many more. <smile> Ken
