Hi Peter, Thanks so much for your kind words and for your poignant example. Isn't it ironic that the very effort to make us more sensitive to people we treat by eschewing the term "stutterer" has apparently now morphed to rejection of the label we use to describe the phenomenon itself, i.e., "stuttering?" To think that this has happened in a person whom we might expect would be the most sensitive, i.e., a person teaching graduate students about the disorder, is even tragic (though I am sure the person IS sensitive). Ken
