Hi Veronica, Thanks for the post. You seem to be suggesting that nonstutterers ask you which term you prefer. I respect your preference. Personally, as a stutterer (mostly recovered now), I don't want that. I want people to refer to me as they see fit. In the rare case someone is a jerk, it will probably come through regardless of the term the person happens to use. I am glad you can talk about stuttering now. I would imagine that this accomplishment has been liberating. Ken
