As a graduate clinician I have only worked with one stuttering client and that was in undergrad. I felt as if the term stutterer did something to his confidence level and it was quite evident when speaking with him. My question is, how do we change the name from stutterer to maybe person who stutters without offending the person whether it be child or adult more so than before.
