Colleen, Thank you for sharing your thoughts toward therapy. I am social worker working with people living with AIDS and HIV. I don't have AIDS or HIV. However, as a therapist my role is to guide and facilitate a person toward what they want or desire to create in themselves. I don't think you have to be a pws to treat another pws. On one hand it may hinder the relationship or on the other hand guide the client. I don't know. concepts here are the value you as a therapist can communicate and build trust. By your comments I believe you have the ingedients to make a difference in people's lives. Good luck in your studies. kindly,Michael
