Emily, Thank you for sharing your concerns about how to incorporate the SCM with parents. One concept jumps out is to communicate to parents that relapse is a part of the stages. And effective communication by your child doesn't always mean 100% fluency.However, this is a very good research project that u may want to undertake. I don't know of any studies or research regarding SCM with parents with children who stutter. U may want to google SCM and find out if someone is incorporating the stages for children and parents. good luck in your studies. Michael
