Kelyn, Thank you for sharing your question. The most difficult stage is "getting started in therapy". Being ready to "work on me" and willing to listen to my therapist. Then every stage has its pitfalls. Change is difficult. In therapy as I moved into different stages. I was entering into a "new self". I may have been scared. But I was willing to face my fears. good luck in your graduate studies. I hope you decide to become a slp specializing in stuttering. good luck, michael
