Michael, I am a graduate student at Kean University. Thank you for your metaphor which helps make us sensitive to the individual needs of PWS. I have a few questions and comments. What does a speech buddy actually do? I would think it would take some training to teach someone not to speak for the PWS. How would you educate a buddy and what exactly are you asking the buddy to do? Also does this approach make the PWS less independent? Finally, perhaps because I am an amatuer gardner finding the right location and watering just enough has been the most important tips for successful gardening for me. How does a PWS and/or an SLP find out these things without experimenting? Thanks again for your insights.
