Malorie: Thanks for your thoughts...the idea comes from my own gardening experiences.....Regarding "right timing" to start, make sure the client wants to do this....if a spouse, parent, or teacher is insisting on help when the client does not consider it as much a problem as they do, then the timing for therapy may not be "right". Although you or some one else might want to do something about the fluency issue, one question to ask yourself is: "whose problem is this anyway?"....Just a thought. Michael
