Oops, did it again. Anyway, funny you should say that, Tina. I have in fact written a book of poetry about stuttering. It has 28 poems, dealing with a variety of aspects about stuttering, along with a introduction to each one. Some intro's expalin more in detail about what I was trying to say in the poem, some are about what inspired the poem, and others just deal with basic info about stuttering in general.I sent it off to a literary agent, they sent me a contract, and are supposedly trying to find a publisher. I say supposedly as I fear they gave me a snowjob just to get my 200 bucks. After my contract expires (in about 5 weeks), I'll be able to seek out alternative publishing sources. The NSA's Annie Bradberry contacted me, asking if I might be interested in having the NSA publish it. She also said that Ken St. Louis might be able to help me. Also, Mike Huges, executive director of Canada's Speak Easy Inc., suggested I contact John Ahlbach. I figure it's just a pipe dream and my book (which the literary agent entitled "Destiny")will never see the light of print. Oh well, Walt Whitman I ain't. If your interested, you can find, I believe, the first 18 I wrote on Judy's Stuttering home page. I've since tweaked a few of them, but for the most part, they are what they are.
