Jim, Thank you for your poetry. I love it. I am interested in the process. Can you describe what it feels like to write? What I mean is, do some poems just flow out of you, kind of like you are only the vehicle for putting words onto paper? You say somewhere that you search for the right words. Do you have the feeling like you've discovered yourself when you find those right words? Do you ever look at the paper and say, "Is THAT how I really feel? Gosh, you know, that IS how I really feel!" I wondering how much writing is self-discovery, not just writing what you already know to be true.
