Jodie - I have a book of poetry about stuttering that I am currently trying to get published. Publishing companies usually insist on going thru a literary agent so I went out and got one. However I don't think it will do much good. They're supposed to be trying to find someone to print it, but I don't have my hopes up. I still have 2 months left before my contract runs out with them expires. After that, I'll be free to pursue other avenues. I didn't know that The National Stuttering Association is also in the printing business. The Executive Director Annie Bradberry has made mention about the NSA perhaps publishing it. She has a copy of my original manuscript. That one, along with the copy I sent in to the literary agent contained, 28 poems. Since that time, I've written 5 more. My dream, though fading, still lives.
