Dear Carry Eilam

Yes, I also think that all manifestations of stutering, developmental and acquired are of neurological origin. The only reason that I made a distiction betwee the tow forms, is that the developmental stuttering is probably due to a dysfunctioning of the linguistic and motoric capacities of the brain without a clearly objective lesion, while the acquired stuttering shows uts the same dysfunctioning due to a brain lesion. But I HOPE THAT WE CAN PROVE ONE DAY THAT STUTTERING IS STUTTERING?, and that linguistic and motoric dysfunctioning are the basic elements of it, even if the psychological stress can overwhelm these elements by the time. Thank you for your question
