Hi Jim,

I did not expect to find another writing of yours from the same date, so here are some threading words refering to your writing.

Refering to your songwriting. It is good the way you do it. But to perform music nowadays you don't need an instrument any longer. Of course, you have to try modern music forms, like rap. You can just rap to an electronic gadgets, producing rhythm, and become a musician of your poetry. I think that people nowadays can get better the lyrics when they are sung. The German word for poetry is Dichtung, which means Compression. And it is difficult to transimit the compressed message of our souls to others, who did not make this process. Poetry is very difficult to recite, but a good reciter can get the message through. My father was a poem reciter. In eastern Europe there is a long tradition on listening to poetry recitation. It is a pity, however, that many poets are bad presentators. I did not perform my two songs, referring to stuttering, but other ones. You see, I think that what matter, are the things lying beyond our stuttering and cause it, thus creating lyrics that will eventually lead us away from the stammering City of No. I recited the Yes-No poem to a stuttering meeting. I could send you the two songs, refering to my stuttering, and also the other English songs that I made - just mail me your home address. I am not a good singer and did not care to produce good recordings - they are for my memory. Of course I dream, that some good singer will perform one of my songs to make a world hit. I always put Dylan as my master, because he, too, cannot sing well, and still is one of the greatest songwriters and singers. I love most of all to present my songs live to partys and gatherings. If you want to listen to one of my songs, it is on Internet: www.apis.admin.ch/deutsch/Themen/Bienensong.htm

Jim, your poetry looks now at your stuttering, Are you doing poetry, reflecting to other aspects of your experiences? My awakening to lyrics was the beginning of my path to reflect on my stuttering, and to be able then to step on the stuttering stone and not to stumble on it "like a complete unknown, like s rolling stone.."

Looking forward to further contacts with you,

kind regards, Stefan
