Dear Eelco de Geus:

I applaud your efforts to bridge the gap between the stuttering child and his or her community. The practicality of your book makes it inviting and of interest to future professionals such as myself. As a clinician, any insight into the thought processes of children who stutter is extremely useful. Do you possess or are you aware of any recent data from studies concerning the attitudes of children who stutter toward their clinician(s)? What would they change, if anything, about their therapy sessions or their clinician(s)? What areas do children who stutter feel need to be addressed by their clinician(s); but typically are not? I would appreciate your input. Thank you for your time.

Respectfully, Michelle Wagner
