I am a first year graduate student at East Carolina University. As a future SLP, I was wondering why you think one of your studies showed that 46% of people who stutter reported no help at all with telephoning during therapy? Do you think it should be encorporated into therapy? I feel it should be, but do you think the clinician should ask the person who stutters if they want telephone usage encorporated into their therapy session, or should they (the SLP) just assume it should be part of therapy?
