Thank you for pointing out just why using the telephone is difficult for some individuals. This article has given me insight to a patient I am currently working with. However, she is not a PWS, rather an individual with Aphasia. Her fear stems from word-finding difficulties which result in long pauses...she worries others may not give her enough time to speak.
