Lacy, Thanks for your positive comments on the journal. Journals are being used in so many ways - my daughter has had one in school since second grade. Some journals were read by teachers with responses, some were private, and some were shared at home. We have learned so much from them. I have started the journal process with a second grade boy who is relucant to write, but loves to draw. His journal will start with pictures and some scribing of his thoughts.
