WOW!! I Love your story. Questions. How did YOU handle a presentation, I have done quite a few in my time but I am nowhere near experienced as you are? Also do you have to add in your resume that you stutter? In South Africa we don't have to. Maybe I also never felt that it was a problem for the particular interview I was going for.
