Karen, Looking back, are you grateful that stuttering was mentioned by your school counselor in the report he/she sent to the Director of Nursing Education so it was out in the open? Would you have rather that h/she hadn't? I recently wrote a letter of recommendation for one of my students for college enterance and struggled with that exact issue.
