I am a strong advocate of attitude adjustment. I know and use many techniques but what has really enabled me to succeed as much as I have is and acceptance in my stuttering. I can confront my fears instead of hiding from. I still stutter alot (sometimes less than at other times) but I don't feel afraid to speak.

I do not know if there are actual grants to the NSA conventions, but in the past, teens have gotten help from elder members of the NSA. I do know that the NSA gives scholarships for those who attend the SSMP. I hope that helps.
