On behalf of stutterers worldwide, I just want to thank all of you for wanting to become SLP's. Having just graduated from college, and curently a graduate student myself, I throughly understand what it requires to achieve a dream.

The four student clinicians that helped teach me to stutter with less effort and how to start accepting my speech; probably never imagined the type and depth of impact they would have.

They gave me hope where I had none, they gave me goal to strive for that was actually possible to reach. They did emphasize that I would never be "cured" of my stuttering, but that I could, with time and mucho effort, reduce the amount of stuttering I did.

By becoming SLP's, each of you will reach an emotional "high" that only comes with helping someone. You will have an impact on people's lives that can last them a lifetime. I salute all of in your quest and wish you the best of luck in your studies. Because of your dreams, other people will realize their dreams.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart---Bobby
