Hi, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story with us. I am a 1st year graduate student at East Carolina University, and I have a class on stuttering that is exposing me to more information than it seems possible to deal with. It all makes it worth while when I can read a story such as yours that reminds us what exactly our target for the future is. I would, however like to ask a couple of questions regarding your article...1) What exactly was the goal of the therapist when they had you put marbles in your mouth...for therapy? 2) Being that you have been using your techniques and have had therapy for the past few years, which ones do you find the most benificial? One last thing, you made a very good point when you mentioned how your 'support staff' helped you out in those situations in need. I believe that it is important to always remember your support structure. Even when they are not presently with you, you can always derive comfort in knowing that they are always behind you, no matter what. Thank you again for your submission.
