That was definitely a story worth sharing. We all have one common goal: to help and make a difference in the lives of people like yourself and at times, we may lose sight of that goal, but your story just reminded me what a lot of the hard work is really for. I do hope that you're still in contact with those who helped you, because it's equally important for us to know that we are making a difference. Many people do not fully understand and appreciate the effort that we attempt to put forward and a little recognition is sometimes all it takes to keep us on the right path. I do hope that clinicans recognize the importance of real world situations and/or simulations to help clients better adapt to the pressures of the real world. Speech does not take place within a vacuum. Thanks for sharing.
