My father is a severe stutterer. I have five sisters none of us have any fluency problems. According to my grandmother, my fater is the only person in the family that she has known to stutter, however, she does not really know my fathers paternal family history. My father has one brother and seven sisters, I have been around these people all of my life, no one stutters my father is the only one. The information you presented about stuttering and the family tree has made me want to investigate further into my fathers family history and find out if he really is the only stutterer ever in the family.
