I have a question concerning your statement that early intervention is more beneficial than later treatment. I makes sense to me that early intervention would be good for regaining fluency with few relapses. However, my question is how do we know that the early intervention is the causal factor of better flueny, instead of the phenomenon called spontaneous recovery. Are the two linked at all?
